A venture of Chicago-based L3 Capital LLC paid $5.5 million for commercial properties at 4740 N. Lincoln Ave. and 4722-28 N. Lincoln Ave. in Chicago’s Lincoln Square neighborhood, according to Cook County property records.

Nathan Tonnies, a principal at Highland Park-based Metro Commercial Real Estate Inc., brokered the deal for L3 and is handling retail leasing at the properties.
